The winter solstice is the turning point where light is born out of the winter darkness on the longest night. That is why this holiday is often called a Festival of Lights, but the winter solstice is also a thanksgiving to the winter darkness. With the Nightwanderer we embrace darkness and give a warm welcome to the light!
